General Fund is created and maintained by our NGO to cover general expenses not specific to a project/cause/need. This helps cover expenses and overhead that are vital to the running of the organisation.
This fund covers expenses like:
- Phone line
- Petrol
- Office supplies and maintenance of office equipment
- Travel and conveyance by auto, bus, or train
- Internet
- Car Insurance
- Car repair and maintenance
- General staff salaries for the Home Manager, Administrative Assistant, and Home Security
- Professional fees (book keeper, CA)
- Festivals and Birthday Celebrations
- Maintenance of electric, plumbing, water heaters, fans, tanks, water filters, etc.
- Taking children for outings
- Purchase of replacement items like bowls, plates, dishes, cookware, beds, mattresses and other furniture
Important Note: The founder and the trustees do not take any salary or remuneration for their endless time, efforts and services. Hence 100% of all your donations will be used to provide care for the children.
